The re-examination of the Law for the amendment and completion of some normative acts in the field of service pensions, following the Constitutional Court Decision, received a vote of rejection.
There were 246 "for" 78 "against" 31 abstentions. 5 parliamentarians did not vote. The law was rejected, they voted for the rejection report.

The opinion is advisory, and the Government can continue to assume responsibility for the legislative proposal. The President of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, Lia Savonea, announced on Thursday for Digi24 that she will give "a categorical vote against" at the SCM meeting. The project will go "further on its trajectory", declared Radu Marinescu. The Vice President of the SCM Claudiu Sandu explained that all the courts and prosecutors' offices voted negatively on the new initiative of the Executive, and the Minister of Justice abstained from the vote. The mandate of the elected members is six years, without the possibility of re-election.

The SCM includes prosecutors Daniel Horodniceanu – Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, Emilia Ion – Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest Court of Appeal, Bogdan Silviu Staicu – Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest Tribunal, Claudiu Constantin Sandu – Prosecutor's Office attached to the Brașov Tribunal and Marioara Cătălina Sîntion – Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest 3rd District Court.

Inițiativa a fost declarată neconstituțională de CCR, context în care Guvernul va veni cu un nou proiect.
Reexaminarea Legii pentru modificarea şi completarea unor acte normative din domeniul pensiilor de serviciu, ca urmare a Deciziei Curții Constituționale, a primit un vot de respingere.

Comisiile juridice din Parlament au reexaminat Legea pentru modificarea şi completarea unor acte normative din domeniul pensiilor de serviciu în ședința comună, desfășurată în data de 26 noiembrie 2025, transmițând un raport de respingere în plenul comun al Camerei Deputaților și Senatului.
Guvernul propune o nouă inițiativă. Potrivit noului proiect, cuantumul pensiei va reprezenta 55% din baza de calcul reprezentată de media indemnizațiilor brute din ultimii 5 ani, dar nu mai mult de 70% din ultima indemnizație netă.

Vicepreședintele CSM Claudiu Sandu a explicat că toate instanțele și parchete au votat negativ noua inițiativă a Executivului, iar ministrul Justiției s-a abținut la vot. Mandatul noii conducerii a CSM este de un an și va începe în 7 ianuarie 2026.
Președintele și vicepreședintele CSM sunt aleși dintre membrii Consiliului cu activitate permanentă și care nu au mai ocupat până acum funcții de conducere.
CSM are în componență 19 membri: nouă judecători și cinci procurori aleși de magistrați în Adunările generale ale instanțelor și parchetelor, doi reprezentanți ai societății civile, aleși de Senat, și trei membri de drept – ministrul Justiției, președintele ICCJ și procurorul general al României. Mandatul membrilor aleși este de șase ani, fără posibilitatea reînvestirii.
În prezent, Consiliul Superior al Magistraturii este format din judecătorii Daniel Grădinaru – Înalta Curte de Casație și Justiție, Denisa-Angelica Stănișor – Înalta Curte de Casație și Justiție, Gheorghe-Liviu Odagiu – Curtea de Apel Alba Iulia, Elena Raluca Costache – Curtea de Apel București, Ramona Grațiela Milu – Curtea de Apel Brașov, Mihaela-Laura Radu – Tribunalul București, Narcis Erculescu – Tribunalul Dâmbovița, Claudiu-Marian Drăgușin – Judecătoria Sectorului 4 București și Vasile-Alin Ene – Judecătoria Ploiești.
